General Information

 

The STRENDA meeting will take place in person at the Hotel Jagdschloss Niederwald in Rüdesheim (Rhein)
from 5 to 6 October 2022 with the 4th and the 7th for traveling.

On request, we will provide online meeting features in addition that take advantage of the best that the two modalities offer.

The scientific agenda will be discussed over two days and will start at 9.00 a.m. on Wednesday, the 5th, and end in the late afternoon on Thursday, the 6th.

The language of the meeting is English.

The dress of the meeting is casual/informal.

Photographs may be taken during the meeting which subsequently may be published on the Beilstein-Institut website and in our social media channels.

All participants are requested to register with the registration form sent out by personal mail.

Housing

For both the members of the STRENDA Commission and invited guests, the organizers will book the hotel room, and if requested the Beilstein-Institut will pay the full board rate at the hotel for the three nights (arrival October 4, departure October 7).

COVID-19 Health & Safety Rules

 

 

 

 

Effective August 3, 2022 – Subject to change

As the Beilstein events are international events where people from all over the world come together, we have established the following rules to promote the health and well-being of all participants, staff and the local community in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. These rules may change by the time our event takes place. Persons who do not adhere to these rules may not participate in the event.

The most important points are summarized here:

  • COVID-19 vaccination or recovery is required.
  • A daily COVID-19 antigen test is required. Test kits will be supplied by the Beilstein-Institut.
  • No entry for participants who have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last five days.
  • No entry for participants with symptoms of illness such as cough or fever.
  • During the event, participants who test positive are required to stay away from the event.
  • A medical mask is recommended to be worn during the conference.
  • Follow general hygiene rules, i.e. sneeze and cough only into the crook of your arm or in a handkerchief, wash and disinfect hands regularly, and avoid touching.

 

IMPORTANT: We would like to remind all participants of the risks in participating in this Beilstein event. Even with every reasonable precaution to keep participants safe, we cannot fully eliminate all risks of harm to attendees or guarantee their safety, especially from the risks posed by COVID-19 or its variant strains. Ultimately, you are responsible for your own safety and any risks associated with contracting this or any other illness at the event.

 

Mask wearing

During the scientific program all participants except the active speaker are recommended to wear a medical face mask (surgical, FFP2, N95, KN95). Weather permitting, we will arrange to have as many meals and coffee breaks outdoors as possible. We recommend that a mask be worn indorrs in the public areas of the hotel and outdoors if social distancing of 1.5 meter cannot be maintained.
