Current Funding Projects
Besides publishing Open Access Journals and organizing symposia, the Beilstein-Institut supports further scientific projects:
The joint project NanoBiC is dedicated to the nanosciences. More than 90 scientists in several research institutes and universities in Germany commonly investigate the generation, analytics and properties of nanostructures.
The Beilstein Professorship for bioorganic chemistry was established at the Technical University Dortmund in 2009 and appointed with Frank Schulz.
The project “STRENDA” consists of a commission working on the standardization of enzyme data with discussions among scientists on special symposia.
