Poster Session and Software Demo

Call for Papers

This Beilstein Glyco-Bioinformatics Symposium provides young scientists the opportunity to present the latest and hottest results from their research with either presenting a poster and a short oral presentation or demonstrating a piece of software in a separate room.

The organizers would be pleased to receive your application for one of the few slots by sending your abstract.

Abstracts for Poster and Software Applications

Abstracts for both the poster presentation and software demonstration should be submitted electronically by 31 March 2017 to the following email address:

glycobioinformatics@beilstein-institut.de

Please state either 'Poster Proposal Beilstein Glyco-Bioinformatics 2017' or 'Software Demo Proposal Beilstein Glyco-Bioinformatics 2017' in the subject of your message. Abstracts cannot be submitted by fax, or hard copy.

Please note that poster abstracts can only be considered for scientific review if they are accompanied with the submission of the completed registration and application form for the poster/software presentation.

Abstracts must be written in English and must not exceed 300 words / 2000 characters (including spaces and excluding title and contact information on authors). The abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the organizers for both poster presentation and a short oral presentation (max. 5 minutes).

The applying authors will be notified if their abstracts are accepted by 13 April 2017. Presenting authors are waived the conference fee.

Instructions for Poster Presentations

Location

The poster exhibition will be placed in close connection to the conference room. Your poster board will be marked with your poster number which is the same in the abstract book.

Poster Mounting

Please mount your poster on 12 June from 16.00 to the 13th latest by 8.30.

Your poster will be on display throughout the symposium. You are asked to remove all poster-mounting materials from the board after the meeting otherwise it will be taken down on time by the organizers. The organizers cannot ensure any further responsibility for this material.

Poster Material

The size of your poster board is 120 x 90 cm (height x width) and will be marked with your poster number. Hanging material for the poster boards will be provided onsite.
