Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry
The Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry started in the year 2005 with steadily growing success. Editor-in-chief is Professor Peter Seeberger, Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam, Germany, who is supported by a distinguished board of associate editors, each of whom is responsible for a particular subject area within the journal’s scope. Under the chairmanship of Professor Henning Hopf (Technical University of Braunschweig), over 40 scientists from all over the world, including several Nobel Prize laureates, support the Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry as Advisory Board members.
The combination of automatic inclusion in PubMed Central, one of the world's largest free digital archives of full-text scientific journal articles, and indexing in PubMed, fulfils the deposition requirements of many funding agencies and brings BJOC articles to the attention of an interdisciplinary readership.
BJOC is covered by Thomson Reuters and therefore included in the "Science Citation Index Expanded". The articles are abstracted by Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS). All articles can be viewed at Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry.
