The Beilstein-Institut principally supports projects for information and communication in the area of chemistry and its related disciplines.

The Foundation carries out its purpose particularly in

  • building scientific databases and information systems, as well as any necessary electronic products
  • publication of scientific articles in printed and electronic form
  • arranging scientific symposia and
  • awarding prizes and stipends and establishing professorships.

In addition, research, teaching and publication projects can be supported with financial help for personnel and material expenditure.
