The Beilstein-Institut principally supports projects for information and communication in the area of chemistry and its related disciplines.
The Foundation carries out its purpose particularly in
- building scientific databases and information systems, as well as any necessary electronic products
- publication of scientific articles in printed and electronic form
- arranging scientific symposia and
- awarding prizes and stipends and establishing professorships.
In addition, research, teaching and publication projects can be supported with financial help for personnel and material expenditure.
